Dentistry is demanding. The work is rewarding, but the weight is real.
We’re clinicians, mothers, wives, partners, leaders, and caretakers. We manage businesses and households, and too often, we do it all without time to care for ourselves.
Dr. Hazel Glasper created The Restoration Project to change that. In the spirit of sisterhood, she invited Dr. Nekia and Dr. Dana Truesdale to help build a space where women—especially Black women in dentistry—can refuel, reconnect, and rise together.
The Restoration Project DDS\DMD is a community event led by pioneering women whose impact reaches across social media, academia, private practice, and healthcare advocacy.
Because we give so much, this time, we’re pouring back into ourselves.

Dr. Hazel Glasper, a key opinion leader, successful practice owner, national and internal speaker, named Dentistry Today, for the 3rd year a top CE Leader in the industry. Dr Glasper is Founder and CEO of The Comprehensive Dental Continuum
She trains dental professionals to optimize patient outcomes and practice revenues through comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Glasper is the founder of a non-profit “Teach Me Dental, which focuses on educating the masses about the value of recognizing the Mouth as the gateway to the body. She is A Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and international Academy of Dento-facial Aesthetics. Her guiding principle is "clinical excellence is fundamental for growth."

Dr. Nekia has built three successful dental practices since 2004, mastering advanced techniques in implantology, cosmetics, orthodontics, and airway management. Through her non-profit Special Care for Special Needs Dentistry, she provides mobile dental services and community health fairs, demonstrating our mission of practice transformation and community impact.

Dr. Dana Truesdale, Conference Vice President and Wellness Chair, is an Army Major with emergency dentistry expertise. She owns Express Dental Emergency Services and Innovation Dental Center, demonstrating the business innovation our conference celebrates. Her mentorship through Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated and the Dream Maker Network reflects our mission of empowering Black women dentists through clinical excellence and wellness integration.
